Cancellation by a parent or guardian

A parent or guardian may end a player's membership by notifying Capital City FC in writing at play@capitalcityfc.co.za. The membership end date recorded by the Club determines any financial adjustment.

Registration fee

The registration fee is a fixed charge payable in full on registration. It is not pro-rated and is not refundable if a player leaves after registering.

Membership fee and pro-rata adjustment

The membership fee covers the full season. If a player leaves before the expected end of the season, the Club recalculates the membership fee portion for the period the player was actually a member using a daily pro-rata calculation from the membership start date to the recorded end date.

Any difference between the membership fee already charged and the recalculated amount is posted as an adjustment to the account. This may result in an amount still owing or a credit balance, depending on what has already been paid.

Outstanding amounts

Ending a membership does not remove liability for amounts that were already due and unpaid. Any outstanding balance remains payable.

Credit balances

Where an early-exit adjustment produces a credit balance, the Club will deal with the credit in accordance with its then-current practice. Parents or guardians may request a refund or transfer of a credit balance by emailing play@capitalcityfc.co.za. Refunds are processed to the original payment method or another agreed method where possible.

Cancellation by the Club

The Club may end a membership in cases of serious or repeated breach of the Membership Terms & Conditions or the Club's codes of conduct, or where amounts remain unpaid after reasonable requests for payment. In such cases, the registration fee is not refunded and any outstanding amounts remain due.

Payment failures and reversed transactions

If a payment is reversed, charged back, or fails to clear after it was initially recorded, the Club will reverse the corresponding allocation on the account. Any resulting outstanding balance becomes due immediately.
